Cancellation Policy

  • Treatment for any illness starts after 30 days from the first inception of the policy (except for accidents).
  • Listed illnesses/treatments in the policy will be covered after a waiting period of 24 months.
  • Declared pre-existing conditions will be covered after a waiting period of 36 months.

Reimbursement Claim Process

  1. You must inform the TATA AIG officials at least 48 hours before the scheduled hospitalization for any treatment or procedure that might lead to a claim
  2. Notify the officials within 24 hours after any emergency treatment or hospitalization requiring a claim
  3. Present your ID card and any requested documents to the network hospital or TPA
  1. Inform the TPA or TATA AIG officials within 7 days after treatment
  2. Submit the required documents to TPA or the TATA AIG officials within 15 days of the incident
